TCM --Traditional Chinese Medicine

You may want to read the December Update if you haven't already. This month is more about my TCM treatment. I began drinking my two cups of Chinese herbal tea daily on Sunday, January 17. During Sunday night, I had a feeling when I moved around in bed that the herbal tea was doing something but it wasn't until Thursday that I really had noticeable improvement. On Thursday morning, I was able to sit up on the edge of the bed, stand up, turn around and sit down on my electric scooter better and easier than in the past few years. I really felt that was significant improvement. It is now January 31 and nothing more has happened yet, but I have a gut feeling that it will. At any rate, I believe the tea is working and I intend to continue it. I will keep you posted on my progress.

Product Endorsements

According to a recent newspaper article, there is a new law that requires people who are making recommendations about a product. The new law requires them to admit whether or not they are receiving any money for making their recommendations. I think that's good. So, I want to remind you again that I receive no money for any product or treatment that I recommend. Actually, I do not recommend anything. I only suggest that you consider it and further suggest that you consult with your health care professional.

Scams

The above leads me to another subject "scams." We have received two e-mail recently asking me about whether or not the TCM was a scam and frankly I resent that. Why ask me when I'm already trying it? I think some people are too scam conscious. The way I look at it is that most scams appear to be "too good to be true" and they are very expensive. I think all you have to do is think logic. I know you might be thinking that anyone who talks about a cure for ALS that it is not logical. However, let me shed a little light on that. I believe that the biggest scam to ever come along is the way most medical doctors treat illness. You get sick and you go to the MD because what else can you do when you are sick? Now you are thinking of a cure. BUT, unknown to you is the fact that most MD's are fresh out of cures. Do you realize that the U.S. has a higher percentage of people with chronic illnesses than almost 100 other countries? If you don't believe this, just ask your MD if he can cure anything? From what I've learned, most MD's avoid any other type of treatment and prefer to use prescription drugs. That would be OK, but DRUGS DO NOT CURE (with rare exceptions).

That's why we wrote our second book "Surviving Without Your MD."

The reason we wrote this new book is because if you get sick with ALS or any illness, it is imperative that you know the facts. You must read our new book.

Well, that's all the good news for this month.
